The Berlin-based label Ottolinger is a collaboration between Swiss-born designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient. The two designes met at the Basel School of Design and learned, throughout the years, that they related to one another- they liked the same things and had the same approach to life. Along with their punk approach to couture tailoring, Ottolinger exudes confidence that trumpes the glamour of a sleek silhouette.

While underlining their unorthodox and refreshing vision on fashion and notion of sex appeal, it questions what is considered flattering to a woman physique. Labor-intensive creations are held to the highest standards in quality and challenge traditional notions of couture with textural and deconstructive applications. Through “Ottolinger” Bösch and Gadient want to convey the time we are living in.
