An unconventional take on casual ensembles
When it comes to innovation in design, Junichi Abe is without a doubt a leader amongst the pantheon of fashion’s most imaginative creatives. Mr Abe launched Kolor in 2004 after studying at Tokyo’s prestigious Bunka Fashion College. The designer gained experience at Junya Watanabe under the COMME des GARÇONS fashion house. With a strong focus on artisanal detailing, tailoring and textiles, Mr Abe quickly distinguished himself as a designer.

Abe’s philosophy centers around crafting sophisticated garments that put emphasize on texture, detail and construction. Kolor’s garments are influences by sportswear, military and traditional menswear. All garments are highly unique, yet understated.
